Best Metal Albums of 2017 Midyear - John

Hi, this is John and here are my "Top 11 metal albums for 2017" - midyear edition. Traditionally, I'm the prog guy, but I have enjoyed more than a few doom, death and black metal releases to go along with some great progressive metal the past six months. It was not easy coming up with a list of just eleven albums, but I did the best I could. It has been a great year for metal so far, but I expect it to be even better with so many anticipated releases still to come.
